rcd-rv

RCD RV is one of the largest RV supercenters in Ohio. With 3 locations, holding almost 700 RVs combined, anybody that is looking to pick up an RV in the state will almost certainly stumble across RCD at some point during their search.

We figured that we would take a little bit of time to go through what RCD RV are all about and what you can expect from them.

Basically, think of this as a complete guide to purchasing from RCD RV.

The History of RCD RV

RCD RV is a company that was born and bred in Ohio. There are three locations in the state.

The company got started way back in 1971 when they first started to sell a product known as the Air Camper which, essentially, was a small camper that you could attach to the back of your truck.

It wasn’t long before the company started to expand at a rapid rate, though. Although, once again, they weren’t quite in the business of selling RVs just yet.

It was mostly used cars and trucks. However, once the company started to have a few RVs come through their doors, and they realized just how easy it was to sell them, the company decided to start looking into other ways they could expand the RV side of their business.

Between the 1980s and the late 1990s, the companies started to expand quickly.

They picked up a huge number of deals with some of the top RV manufacturers in the world, and they set up their various RV locations and ensured that they would always offer the best possible service.

While the team that started RCD RV back in the 1970s has long since retired, the company is still helmed by the family.

This makes this one of the largest dealerships for RVs in the United States that is still in private hands.

Where are RCD RV Located?

RCD RV currently has three locations:

  • Delaware, Ohio
  • Heath, Ohio
  • Pataskala, Ohio

For the most part, each of their locations should carry the same stock. This means that you will be able to head to any one of them.

If they do not have the RV that you are looking for, then they should be able to help you out a little bit.

The staff members at each of their sites will each have the same training as one another, so you can always rely on them to offer the best possible advice.

What Brands Do RCD RV Stock?

Honestly? There are far too many brands for us to be able to list. RCD can source dozens of brands rather easily.

Not all of them are in stock, but they will certainly have some contracts with the RV suppliers where they can get hold of them.

Here, we just want to walk you through some of the more popular brands that they offer.

You will be able to see every brand that they sell if you head on over to their website.

Coachmen

Many of those that are looking for a Class C motorhome, or perhaps a lighter travel trailer, will often gravitate toward Coachmen RVs.

“Perhaps the most popular product in the Coachmen range is the Coachmen Freelancer that is able to sleep a whopping 6 people.”

For those that want an RV travel trailer, then one of the better options in the Coachmen range is the Spirit Ultra Lite Travel Trailer which, as the name suggests, is one of the lightest travel trailers in the world.

Alliance

Alliance may be a rather small RV manufacturer, but they certainly pack a punch when it comes to the sale of fifth-wheel trailers.

The models stocked by RCD RV are Paradigm and Valor, although they may have access to additional models if these are not to your tastes.

Entegra

When it comes to luxury vehicles, Entegra (now owned by Jayco) is probably the company that you want to be paying attention to.

Luckily for you, the company offers three different RVs from Entegra. You have the Esteem, Qwest, and Odyssey.

These are all Class C motorhomes and, as we said, they are going to be top of their absolute class when it comes to luxury.

Forest River RV

Nexus RVs

They may be a small company, but RCD RV offers one of the best products from Nexus; the Wraith.

This extra-strong motorhome can be a bit difficult to track down in the United States due to how few of them are made.

Therefore, if you are after it in Ohio, then there is a chance that RCD RV may be the only place that you can pick it up from.

Newmar

This is a company that builds massive RVs. Seriously massive. The sort of RV that you can expect a band on a world tour to be driving around in.

RCD RV keep their most popular models in stock. You may need to look into financing if you want to pick up one of these bad boys, though.

What Sizes of RVs Do RCD RV Stock?

The company stocks all sizes of RV. This includes:

Do bear in mind that they may not have every single option available at all of their dealerships, mostly for space reasons.

They will stick to the bestselling products. Every single motorhome that they offer should be listed on their website, though.

This means that you shouldn’t really have that many issues browsing through their range.

“Remember, on top of all of these motorhomes, they are going to sell all of the accessories that you need to get out there on the road.”

This means that even if you have an RV, you should probably still go and visit RCD RV if you are in the state of Ohio.

You never know, you may just end up finding an affordable bit of gear that you can add to your RV.

They Offer RV Financing

A lot of people often struggle to afford RVs. This isn’t surprising. They cost a huge sum of cash. In some cases, well over a hundred thousand dollars.

RCD RV offer financing on most of the RVs that they offer. Of course, you will need to have a decent credit history if you want to qualify for vehicle financing.

This is almost certainly going to be a company that you want to check out in Ohio. They do offer some rather favorable terms to those that obtain financing through them.

They Offer Used RVs

A lot of RV dealerships will only have brand-new RVs in stock. This is fine if you have a bit of cash to splash, but can be annoying if you are looking for something decent, but still affordable.

You will be pleased to know that the company does keep a decent stock of used RVs from some of the major brands there.

They are more than happy to walk you through the various options that they have available.

If you are looking to sell your RV, then RCD RV are said to be one of the best companies to sell to. They offer some of the highest possible trade-in prices.

So, if you are in Ohio and you are looking to get rid of your RV, then checking out RCD may be your best bet.

Full-Service Dealership

RCD RV is a full-service dealership. What does this mean? Well, it means that you are still going to be covered when you buy a vehicle from them.

If you buy an RV from RCD, if you have any warranty claims, then you can go to RCD and they will sort the problem out for you.

They have a ton of repair agents and spare parts on site. This means that getting a vehicle repaired under the terms of your warranty will be an absolute breeze.

Do bear in mind that the length of the warranty that you can enjoy will vary from RV to RV.

Even if you are outside of your vehicle’s warranty, you will love the fact that RCD does keep repair agents on site. It means that you do not have to spend an age tracking down a company to repair your RV.

If you are in Ohio, then you will know that RCD are going to be able to repair it for you, and they are going to be doing so using staff and parts that have been certified by the RV manufacturers.

Offer Orientation Specialists

This is something that you don’t actually see all too often when it comes to RV providers, so it is great RCD offer it.

Whenever you buy an RV from them, they will give you the ins and outs of how it works. If it needs to be hooked up to your vehicle, then they will tell you how to do that.

If you need to learn how to work the electrical system, they will teach you how to do that. You are more than happy to ask any questions and they will answer them for you.

This is a brilliant thing because let’s be honest, the bulk of people that are purchasing an RV are buying an RV for the first time.

They may not necessarily know how everything works. So, it is great to get that orientation. It means that you can be out there on the road as soon as possible.

RCD RV really does make it easy to experience the world!
