Who makes Kirkland diesel oil?

At the moment, Kirkland diesel oil is produced by a company called Warren Distribution. This is a company that you may not have heard of, but you will almost certainly have seen some of its products.

This is because they are the largest car oil producer in the world. You can find them producing oil products for the Walmart brand range.

However, we wouldn’t be surprised if they were the producer of many of the top oil brands too.

Because there isn’t much leeway in the production of diesel oils, you will find that the Kirkland formulation isn’t going to be all that different from other oil producers.

So, who is Warren Distribution?

Warren Distribution is an oil-producing company that has been around since the 1920s. They are currently based in Omaha, Nebraska. However, they do have manufacturing facilities throughout the United States.

Most of their diesel oils, at least the ones produced for Kirkland, seem to have been produced in Omaha, though.

The interesting thing about Warren Distribution is the fact that they do not produce their own line of products. Instead, they are a white label company.

This means other businesses, including Costco, go to Warren Distribution and ask them to formulate an oil. The oil that is produced will then have the Kirkland logo placed on it.

This is why the chances are high that you will have used a Warren Distribution oil before, even if you have never heard of the brand.

It isn’t just oils that they produce either. If you go through the automotive section of Costco, then you will likely find that many of the fluids that have been designed for vehicles have also been produced by Warren Distribution.

Are there other producers of Kirkland Diesel Oil?

Of course, because Kirkland diesel oil is just a rebranded version of Warren Distribution oil, Costco does reserve the right to switch the producers of their oils from time to time.

This means that there is a chance that you may end up finding a Kirkland diesel oil that has not been produced by Warren Distribution.

However, the chances of that are going to be incredibly slim. There are not many oil manufacturers in the United States that would be willing to sell their products to Costco.

Perhaps the easiest way to tell whether you have Warren Distribution oil is to check the back of the product packaging.

Near the bottom of the packaging, it will state which company produces it. This will say Warren Distribution if it comes from them. As we said, the chances of this are going to be incredibly high.

Is it worth buying Kirkland Diesel Oil?

Yes.

As we have said several times, there isn’t really any noticeable difference between Kirkland diesel oil and some of the oils produced by the largest brands in the world.

In fact, for a lot of the brands, they are buying their diesel oil from Warren Distribution anyway.

There are a lot of car fanatics that absolutely swear by Kirkland diesel oil. They claim that it is up there with the best oil product that they have ever used in their vehicle.

We, honestly, cannot see any issues with you going down the route of buying Kirkland diesel oil. It is an absolutely wonderful product.

It helps that it is going to be a whole lot more affordable than some of the competing products on the market too.

We know that it is unlikely that you are going to need to be buying diesel oil all that much. However, saving a couple of dollars here and there is always going to be worth nit, in our opinion.
