What is Walmart’s Return Policy After Christmas? (Secrets Nobody Is Talking About)

Walmart Return Policy After Christmas

Do you know what Walmart return policy after Christmas is? this is one of the questions our readers ask a lot. Well, we´ve got you covered.

Walmart is the world’s largest retailer. Walmart sells over 75 million items, including 35 million items through its online presence, Walmart.com.

Over 275 million customers visit a Walmart store somewhere in the world every week. With those mind-boggling numbers, it’s no wonder Walmart requires a streamlined, efficient return policy, especially during Christmas, when sales volume swells.

So, what is Walmart’s return policy after Christmas? Walmart’s return policy after Christmas is largely unchanged from its usual, 90-day return policy. The main difference is an extended window of time to make 30- or 14- day returns to account for the busy holiday season. According to Walmart’s return policy, “Most items with less than a 90-day return window purchased or delivered from Nov. 1 through Dec. 25 begin the return period on Dec. 26.”

Learn more about the ins and outs of Walmart’s return policy, including holiday returns, in this post.

Walmart’s return policy after Christmas, explained:

For most in-store and on-line purchases, Walmart offers a 90-day return policy. However, there are some items that normally have a shorter window of time to make a return.

Some items have a 30-day window, and some have a 14-day window. How does this change over Christmas?

Any item purchased over the Christmas holiday (considered from Nov. 1st through Dec. 25th), begin their return window Dec 26th.

That means 14-day items have until Jan. 9th to be returned, and 30-day items have until Jan. 23rd to be returned.

This gives people a little extra time to return their gifts or purchases over the busy holiday season.

Walmart Marketplace return policy

Items purchased through Walmart’s Marketplace may have different Christmas return policies because those items are sold by independent sellers.

In that case, you can check on the holiday return policy of an item bought through the Marketplace by going to that item on Walmart.com (Marketplace items are sold along Walmart’s items on their website or mobile app) and clicking “Details” under the description of the item.
