Can I Have A Custom Cake Made At Walmart

Walmart bakeries willing to do custom cakes will vary depending on the store. Some bakeries may not be willing to branch too far from the set designs in their booklet.

Others may be willing to accommodate a design you bring to them.

Keep in mind that Walmart isn’t going to be able to do a widely interpretive cake that leans, or an extremely intricate design.

But, they may be able to incorporate a specific type of flower, piping design, or other simplistic custom cake ideas.

A custom cake may cost more than the basic designs that Walmart offers, so be prepared to pay a little more.

Do Any Walmart’s NOT Make Wedding Cakes?

It is possible that your local Walmart doesn’t have the capability to make a wedding cake, especially if it is a Walmart Neighborhood Market.

Although these are owned by Walmart, they do not have the same capabilities as a regular Walmart store.

It is possible your regular Walmart won’t have the capability to make a wedding cake if it has a smaller than average bakery department as well.

If you’re worried you won’t be able to get a cake from your Walmart, you can call them or visit the bakery department and ask in person.

Even if they don’t have the capability to make a traditional wedding cake, they may be able to make a more simplistic layer cake that suits your needs.

All in all, Walmart has a pretty extensive custom cake department and you should be able to find a cake that suits your wedding vision. Plus, their prices are pretty low when compared to stand-alone bakery shops and are perfect for a wedding on a budget.

Stop by your local Walmart and see what cake options they have, just remember to give the bakery enough time to prepare your cake for your special day.
