Yes, Instacart provides grocery delivery for a wide range of hotels in Las Vegas, however, some hotels do not accept on-site grocery deliveries. Since 2017, some hotel chains have collaborated with Instacart to allow for delivery right to hotel doors.

Instacart orders may also be fulfilled for pick-up or delivery can be arranged off hotel property.

Can I give my Shopper additional delivery instructions?

Providing delivery details for Shoppers via the Instacart app, or via messages, is a great way to ensure timely delivery of your order.

This can include details such as your room number, whether to leave an order unattended and any special delivery requirements as dictated by hotel management.

Simply provide the helpful instructions, and make sure to turn on notifications in the Instacart app so as to not miss any communication from your Shopper.

How can I order from Instacart if my hotel does not allow for deliveries?

Unfortunately, not all hotels allow for Instacart deliveries. One reason for this is that many hotels do not want grocery delivery to compete with onsite offerings, which usually have a high markup.

However, items may be placed for pick-up, either through Instacart or through a particular store’s pick-up service.

Popular retailers that have pick up services include Kroger, Walmart, Target, and Publix. To cut down on pick-up time, try choosing a retail location in close proximity to your hotel.

Notifications of the order can be sent via Instacart or from the retailer processing the pickup order.

Another option is to designate your Instacart delivery as “curbside” and meet your Shopper at the point of delivery.

Many valets will allow Instacart Shoppers to park in a designated area for a short amount of time to complete deliveries, so be sure to communicate with your Instacart shopper in order to receive your delivery.

Does Instacart delivery to hotels cost extra?

Most Instacart deliveries have a flat delivery fee of $3.99 for same day orders. This applies to orders that are more than $35. Orders containing alcohol are charged an additional service fee.

Generous tipping, especially for complicated orders and deliveries, are highly encouraged; Instacart shoppers receive 100% of tips from orders.

How much should I tip an Instacart shopper for Las Vegas hotel delivery?

As with any order that requires additional steps, tipping should be generous.

Navigating the Las Vegas strip can be time-consuming and it is very easy to get lost in such a busy tourist destination with many hotels in the same vicinity.

Hauling large orders up several floors and dealing with extra security of the hotel means much more work than the average Instacart order.

Instacart recommends that tips to Buyers be at least 5% of the order total. Tip adjustments can be completed within the Instacart mobile app.

Recap

Instacart delivery to hotels can be a great, budget-friendly option for Las Vegas travelers. Instacart delivery is usually available for hotel guests, though some resorts may have special requirements.

If the hotel does not allow for Instacart deliveries, orders may instead be placed for in-person pickup at a local retail location, or for curbside pickup by an Instacart shopper.

Always check with hotel staff to see what you can expect before placing an Instacart delivery order.
